Glastonbury Tor

The Tor, which rises some 500 ft above the Vale of Avalon, it topped by the basically 14th century tower of the mediaeval chapel of St. Michael. According to legend, the Holy Grail, reputedly the chalice used by Christ at the Last Supper was buried at the foot of thee Tor by Joseph of Arimathaea.
