Roman
Baths
in Bath, England |
The Roman Baths, next to Britian's only hot spring,
were built in the First Century A.D. and served pilgrims visiting
the Temple of Sulis Minerva.
Bath enjoyed its greatest fame in the 18th Century
when wealthy Britons vacationed in the town. Stone seats were
carved in the pools.
