The Sylvester Westcott Cemetery is located Noble Township, Noble County, Ohio.
South of Cambridge, Ohio on I-77, take Exit 28 to Belle Valley. Go right on Rt. 821 .2 miles (street to the left in Belle Valley) and go up the hill for .5 mile. The cemetery is on the right in the trees behind the houses. The old homestead was located where the shelter house stands now in the state park that you pass. — Contributed by Betty W. Acker.
Sylvester Westcott and his family migrated from Rhode Island to Noble County, Ohio in 1817. Sylvester is a descendant of Stukely and Juliana Westcott in the sixth generation: Sylvester6 Westcott, Johnathan5, Samuel4, Benjamin3, Jeremiah2, Stukely1.
