Westcott Society Reunion
June 27-29, 2008
The reunion was held at Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, OH.
Directions to the Lodge: On St. Rt. 16 go to Cherry Valley Rd. Turn south at the light. Go past a few houses and the Cherry Valley Lodge will be on your left.
If flying in: the Airport will be Columbus, Ohio.
Thursday: Board members will be arriving for the board meeting on Friday morning.
Friday: The Hospitality room will be open with information for places of interest to visit, also to sit and visit with your “cousins” and enjoy the displays of Betty’s Westcott Memorabilia. Will be games to play for all ages.
Friday Evening: We will be having a casual BBW picnic on the patio, with a DJ and Good Cousin Fellowship.
Saturday Morning: is the Society Membership Meeting with the Memorial Service to follow immediately.
Saturday Morning and Afternoon: Is your chance to go sightseeing or stay at the lodge and enjoy the CoCo Key Water Resort (50,000 sq ft indoor water resort), Banyan Leaf Spa, Indoor swimming pool, Arcade game and exercise room or waking around the courtyards and enjoying the view of flowers, waterfalls, sitting in the gazebo and feeding the ducks, or going on a bike ride (path). Bikes for all ages are free of charge. Cherry Valley Lodge can make a reservation for golfing within 10 mins of the lodge.
Saturday Evening: Sit down dinner, music and dancing and once again Good Cousin Fellowship.
Sunday Morning: Church Service at 9:00 AM. Some “Cousins” will have to leave early for their long drives home, but we hope many can attend.
