2026 Westcott Family Reunion, Thursday, July 9 to Sunday, July 12

July 10, 2026 — After a tour of historic Sacketts Harbor and a barbecue at Wescott Beach (and for some as swim in Lake Ontario), Westcott cousins stop for a photo at the park entrance before heading back to Watertown to continue the festivities for our 45th Biennial Reunion. Jug Band (plus) Headlines Friday Night Festivities
At the Friday night meal, reunion goers were entertained by the Westcott Jugsuckers, a band named after the Westcott Section of Syracuse, which in turn derives its name from the street that runs through it, which in turn is named after Dr. Amos Westcott, the Mayor of Syracuse in 1860 and a Stukely descendant
After a banquet on Saturday night, we unfurled Westcott Family Reunion banner for the traditional group photo (thank you, Tom Sterling), after which the banner was rolled up, packaged and sent on its was to Minnesota wher the next reunion will convene in 2028.

* At some point between the 1982 reunion in Charlottesville, Viginia, and the 1998 get-together in Killington, Vermont, the numbering of the event was reduced by one to account for the cancellation of the “Fifth Biennial Reunion” in 1941 because of World War II. (What would have been the 43rd reunion in 2020 was cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic.) As of July 2022, there have been 43 Westcott Society Reunions.
